Bob Upchurch is the owner of Bob Upchurch Appraisals, LLC, a long time Chamber member and volunteer, and is an ex-officio member of the Chamber Board of Directors.

He was an active board member from 2006-2012, and has continued to serve the Chamber in a number of areas, including through the Military Affairs Committee, and the Reverse Drawing Committee.

Before moving to Carteret County, Bob lived in Raleigh where he was the senior active army advisor to the Adjutant General and North Carolina National Guard, then moved to Morehead City in 1997. His favorite pastimes include working, boating, fishing, and volunteering for the Chamber, where he has been a member since 1998.

Bob enjoys volunteering with the Chamber of Commerce, helping others, and providing support to the local non-profit organizations in Carteret County.

He is affectionately known as the "Cookie Colonel" for the leadership he shows with the MAC's annual Cookies for the Troops drive.
