Personal Profile
Within six months of college graduation, I purchased a home. I had a husband, a four year old daughter and was also taking care of my widowed mother. It was time for my family to settle into a dwelling that we could share and where each of us would be able to enjoy the various aspects of home-life.
The salesman who sold me the home convinced me that I should become a real estate agent myself. The thought of being able to do for other people what he had done for me and my family interested me. I did indeed get a sales license and have always enjoyed the privilege of being able to help clients and customers with their housing needs.
My buyers can rely on me for guidance because I use my experience to help them see the possibilities in a property and the potential lifestyle that can be achieved in the purchase of a home for them and their families. I am committed to my sellers and conscientious about marketing their homes to qualified purchasers. I work hard and of course, do all I can to accomplish whatever it takes to sell a client's property whether it is residential, rental or commercial.
My affiliation with Century 21 Cedarcrest Realty is most important. It is a work-place that is comfortable and conducive to being productive. Century 21 is the only real estate company that can boast of being the winner of the J.D. Power and Associates award for three consecutive years. Our Century 21 Cedarcrest office has won the "Best Real Estate" office in Essex County for two consecutive years. The Century 21 sign is the most recognized real estate sign in our nation.
As a life-long resident of Essex County, with an extensive knowledge of the housing market, I have always been proud of my ability to relate to buyers and sellers in what results in the perfect pairing of clients. It is deep in human nature to want a place of one's own and nothing brings me more satisfaction than to help people realize that goal. Home is and should be a refuge, a safe haven, a meeting place to share the events of the day and a good meal with those we love and value. After all, when the school bell rings, when the commute is over, when we reach the end of the day,

Seller reviewI was dealing with a very difficult/demanding buyer who created a deal of anxiety for me. At every turn, Mrs. Maloney used her experience and excellent people skills to defuse the situation and provide reassurance. I was caring for a sick relative in another state and she cheerfully offered to stand in for me at my home during repairs. She also found me excellent contractors to remediate some problems in the house. She made herself available at all times via text, email and phone. In essence, she held my hand throughout every phase of the project, especially when a leaking oil tank was found and the soil needed remediation. She explained the entire process to me. Her contacts proved invaluable when permits were needed-she has a knack of being able to expedite projects. It was a joy to have her representing me. It was apparent to me that Ms. Maloney loves her work and is very good at it. She is knowledgeable, dependable and trustworthy. I was not looking forward to this process but she made it fun. She kept me optimistic, especially when I found out I had a leaking oil tank which slowed the sale process. I will recommended her to friends. I heard from two friends about the excellent job she had done while selling their properties. In both cases, they said she addressed their every needs and had done far more than they ever expected from an agent. I remembered their positive comments and knew that I wanted her to represent me when the time came to sell my house. She has the perfect combination of knowledge, experience, patience and people skills. All of these were invaluable during this sale. I made a good decision asking Ms. Maloney to represent me. I have no regrets. It was a pleasure! I heard from two friends about the excellent job she had done while selling their properties.
