Jim Pickens of CENTURY 21 Hometown Brokers

I had met Jim Pickens a couple of years ago when I was looking for a home in Billings while he was representing another client's home for sale. I was impressed with his style. He had a kind and patient demeanor, but thorough with the presentation of her property. When this property came up I remembered this about Jim and called him for some advice on this site. He came right over with several examples of comparable homes and with additional information about the pro and cons of this place which was very useful to me in consideration of this property. Jim is very professional, but he comes across as a friend, and he is, talking over the details of the purchase in a very comfortable, non pushy manner. His facilitation of the purchase of this property was very smooth because of his management and attention to detail. According to the listing agent, this was a complicated listing for various reasons. He referred to it as a "listing from hell". Jim took over and contacted the listing agent and calmed the sellers down by assuring them that I had the money and the offer would be a respectable one. He made the right call on the offer amount. The sellers accepted. What could have been a mess, turned out to a very soft landing. When I look back on this, I see it as an example of the knowledge and experience of Jim Pickens, working together, leading me to success. This is the man Jim Pickens is and I highly recommend him.
