Personal Profile
As a fannin county native, I hold small town values near and dear to my heart. I value honesty and integrity above all else and will always think and act in your best interest. I graduated from The University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Furnishings Merchandising. My classes involved marketing, interior design, and drawing floorplans using computer aided design software. During my time at UNT, I met my loving, hardworking husband, and we now have two precious kids. My previous work experience included working in the title and mortgage industries where I gained an appreciation for the many details that go into the buying and selling process. I have a service driven mindset and I'm committed to helping my clients navigate through all of their real estate endeavors- simply, effectively, and honestly.
Specializations
STAGING
I believe staging is extremely important, and contrary to popular belief, it doesn't have to cost anything. I specialize in working with the furniture and decor you already have and rearranging it in a way that best showcases your home. Some of the remarks I hear when I'm done staging are:
-"Wow! Why did we never arrange it like this!"
-"I can't believe how much better it looks."
-"Everyone who comes by keeps saying how great it looks"
The bottom line is, even the most well decorated and well cared for of homes, can benefit from staging. There is a difference in the way we live and what works for us personally versus the way it looks in a picture online and what will appeal to the largest pool of buyers.
FLOOR PLANS
Floor plans reveal the big picture, and I am passionate about helping sellers market their listing by unveiling the layout to potential buyers! The layout is one of the most important features for buyers, but most of the buyers today begin their search online and rely on pictures to decide if a home is worth seeing in person. So, how will they see the layout? Are they missing the most important picture? This is why I personally take the time to measure, sketch, and produce a simple, easy to read CAD floor plan for my residential sellers. This is an added bonus for my sellers and does not cost anything extra.
-Floor plans help online buyers visualize the space
-They provide a natural screening process for showings- every one who schedules a showing has previously decided the layout could work for them, which saves valuable time for sellers.

Seller reviewI consider Lacey to be a top notch and professional realtor. If I had any questions or concerns she got back with me same day. If she didn't know the answer, she found the answer and called me back same day. As I wasn't in town while my home was being sold, she checked on the property for me. There were several times I had to have workers complete work on the property and Lacey had to let them in and lock up after. I always felt my property was in good hands. If you want the best you pick Lacey York.

Buyer reviewShe was excellent to work with, extremely thorough, went out of her way to help (worked some late hours due to time zone difference), was on top of all the questions that I wouldn't have thought of, and even had a really nice move in the basket for me when we closed. I have never had a realtor go out of their way like that before and that completely topped it off for me. I would recommend her to anyone and will if anyone comes across my way looking.

Seller reviewLacie York went a long way out of her way to expedite the sale of the land. The reason it took a while to sell is that I listed it at the very top of the market. She also went above and beyond what I expected of her to save me money at every step in the process. She had it mowed w/o any expense to me. When the buyer's title company's quote for a surveyor was exorbitant, Lacie found a local company to handle the sale. She also made it a point to shop for and find a local surveyor who only charged me 25% of what the other surveyor quoted. She always contacted me every time someone inquired about the land. She coordinated with the gentleman I have been leasing the land to for a few years to keep him informed when potential buyers wanted to walk the land. I know I'm leaving some things out, and I apologize, I just can't remember everything the did to facilitate the sale. I did, however, forget to mention that she negotiated my full asking price for the land.
