Originally from Rochester, NY, Tashara Brown relocated to Charlotte, NC in 2013 after living in Savannah, GA. She holds an MBA from Walden University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. With over a decade of experience in nonprofit management, project management, and community engagement, she continues to be an active leader in the Charlotte community. In November 2023, Tashara obtained her real estate license and has been practicing since. She serves on several nonprofit boards, including Pivot Point and Heal Charlotte, and previously chaired Re-Entry Partners of Mecklenburg. Tashara was appointed by the Mecklenburg County Commissioners in 2023 to the Domestic Violence Advisory Board, where she currently holds a seat. In addition to her professional achievements, Tashara is a dedicated mother of two, a boy and a girl, and has proudly excelled as a superlative team mom.
