So, I checked another accomplishment off the list. It was once a dream …. now I am officially a homeowner! Becoming a first-time homeowner can be nerve-racking and my journey to today definitely had its moments and I had even considered pulling the plug. But thanks to my realtor Aaron, the prayers, and the support of family and close friends, I made it to the finish line. There are several monumental things about this journey however, the most significant is the actual date of closing. As I sat in the room signing my life away, it dawned on me that today (6.27) marks the date I first migrated to this country. When I migrated to this country, I had no idea where this journey would take me but today, I add yet another achievement to the list and for it to happen on this day makes it even more exciting.
