I was born and raised in Northeast Pennsylvania. At the age of 20 I became a single mother. Raising my daughter on my own taught me independence and perseverance, skills that serve me well in my professional life. Eight years later I was blessed with a wonderful son. Both of my children are now grown and married and I have a sweet grandson. The Hazleton/McAdoo area has been my home for over twenty-five years. My time here has given me an in-depth knowledge of the areas in which you may be thinking of buying or selling. Working with my agent on the sale of my own home drew me to the Real Estate profession. Overall I cannot say enough about how Amy Matchita handled every aspect of the entire process of the sale of my home. By no means was this sale easy cause of the circumstances but no matter how things went Amy was always there to help me more than I even expected. Because of everything she did for me with the sale I will be returning to her in the near future when I am ready to buy my next home.

Amy Machita was very professional and friendly. She always kept us up to date regarding what was happening with the selling of the property. I think she went above and beyond to keep us informed. All brokers should care about their clients like she did. With all the up's and downs, she always stayed positive and we all got through to the closing. She was a great broker to work with. Got things done no matter what time it was. She was always there if I had questions and walked us through everything.
