A lifelong Chicagoan, Armando received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Real Estate has been one of his passions for the last 10 years. Prior to joining Century 21 S.G.R., Armando was the Director of Finance at Jones Lang LaSalle, an international commercial real estate firm. Before Jones Lang LaSalle, he managed a 70-property, 3,500,000 square foot real estate portfolio for Com Ed. Looking for a more personal connection to real estate, he joined Century 21 S.G.R. in 2004 to pursue residential sales, which he thought would allow him to make more of a difference in people's lives.Armando brings his complex business background, analytical skills, passion, and positive energy to his clients. His love for the city and urban living is evident in his knowledge of emerging neighborhoods and their attributes. Seller reviewI got to know Armando Chacon through neighborhood networking and mutual friends. He was both very personable and very knowledgeable about the housing market. When it came to list, I didn't even consider using anyone other than Armando. Like most sellers, I was hoping for a quick sale at a great price. Armando exceeded my expectations on both. He went above and beyond in getting the deal done. My family and I were in process of relocating out of state and had the stress of leaving a home, our friends and a city we loved. He really took it upon himself to alleviate the stress of selling a home, going as far as showing up early to open houses and helping with last minute cleaning. For the final inspection, Armando was at the house as the buyers and their agent did one last walk through. A water issue came up during the inspection which needed immediate addressing. Armando reached out to his plumber and got the issue resolved in less than 48 hours which allowed us to close on schedule. Armando took an otherwise stressful process and made it one of the best client services experiences I've ever had.
