Bert Owen's attributes as a real estate agent are phenomenal; all agents should use her as a template. Her professionalism, honesty, knowledge and dedication are just some of the adjectives I would use to describe the skills she possess that separate her from her peers. I was living in Oklahoma and searching for a home in Alabama which made it imperative that the realtor was detail oriented, had excellent communication skills, listened to me carefully, respected me, took the task seriously and understood what I was searching for in a home; Bert Owens was that realtor. I have worked with a half dozen realtors over the years and as I look back and compare them with Bert, there is no comparison. Prior to working with Bert, I feel I was clueless of what true professionalism and dedication an agent should demonstrate. Unlocking a front door and telling you the obvious e.g. "To the left is the dining room and to the right is the family room and kitchen" is how many realtors define their role; without hesitation they call themselves professional realtors. Bert was with me every step of the journey i.e. the search, the initial showing, walk-thru, inspection, signing of contracts, etc. Bert, went to properties took photos on the weekends when realtors I worked with in the past wouldn't answer or return my calls after Friday 3:00 pm; I would be left to wait until the following Monday. Bert talked with attorneys, the home inspector and the listing agent on my behalf. Bert was very detailed in relaying all the pros and cons of the properties she visited, taking the time to go through each photo she took, explaining what details she wanted me to focus on, answering any question I raised along the way. Bert made me feel comfortable knowing she was looking after my best interest and fighting the battles that needed to be fought with the listing agent as well as educating me along the way. I would recommend Ms. Owens to any buyer or seller; her background as a retired educator carries over to her being a true professional real estate agent. That you Bert!

Mrs. Owens was very patient with me when selecting my home. She always asked if i understood everything and explanations was precise. Mrs. Owens is one of the nicest people I have ever met. She was the perfect realtor for me as I experienced purchasing my first home.

I knew Bert from a friend . She sold their house for them. She was also a member of my church and I felt she would understand my situation and work hard to sell quickly. Bert had handled a sale for a friend a few years back and she approached me when she heard I wanted to sale. I needed to sale quickly because my son was very sick and I needed to leave the area before the house sold. Bert went out of her way to see that my property was secure and would show well. she checked my house almost every day to be sure everything was okay and when she showed the house she always went early and swept the walk, turned on lights and adjusted the air. when my house sold I had to go back to Alabama to pack and do the closing. Bert arranged for me to close early so I could be back in Ohio for my son who was having more tests. Bert arranged to have the house cleaned at her expense and tool care of getting the proceeds to me. Bert was not only my Broker but a good friend who loves her work and cares about her clients. Since the sell Bert has kept in touch with me and my family. I would recommend her to anyone who is interested in selling property. Bert kept in touch with me each time she showed the house and kept me informed with the progress. She is and excellent representative for your company.

I truly enjoyed working with Bert Owens during the process of purchasing a home in Montgomery, AL. Bert knew the history of the neighborhood and was very helpful when the time came to discuss the comparisons of other houses and pricing. Bert was always very accessible when I called and she arrived at the property well before I did for meetings. She displayed incredible patience in dealing with the seller who was very elderly. Bert always took time to sit and chat with me and my son and took an interest in hearing about our business in the area. She also arranged and paid to have the house cleaned and that made a huge impression on me. I give her my highest recommendation.
