As a Century 21 Agent, Bill brings much more than just real estate experience to the table. He is a community driven individual who has lived and worked all over Sonoma County for more than 50 years. Although not born here, Bill moved to Petaluma when he was 6 years old, graduated from Petaluma High, has an associate degree from Santa Rosa Junior College and a BA from Sonoma State University. He has raised all 3 of his kids here. Before he began his favorite career as a real estate agent he owned "The Bicycle Factory" for 18 years which operated stores in Sebastopol, Santa Rosa, Novato and of course Petaluma. Ultimately we purchased a property off-market, but Bill identified the property initially. Bill was very engaged in shepherding the purchase through the off-market process - which required some specialized /unique steps. Bill was indispensable in helping us navigate this process, identifying important procedures and information required to successfully close the off-market purchase. We moved to Petaluma from Oakland, so we were newcomers without any prior understanding of neighborhoods, Petaluma housing stock, and local market conditions. Seller reviewBill Gabbert was extremely approachable and cordial. He was also quite persistent with the buyers' realtor, staying on top of things and generally giving the realtor appropriate nudges. And he definitely always promptly kept us in the loop, even when the news was not good. His close working relation with the officer at the title company made the escrow process quite quick and painless.
