We were being relocated to Galesburg, IL from the greater Omaha, NE area. That in its own can be stressful when moving out of state. We had to sale our current home while buying a new home just added to it. Knowing that we needed help with finding a new home, we reached out to a local real estate group (we won't mention names) to get the process started. Long story short, we were far from impressed as they had horrible communication, acted like they were too busy to help us, etc. So we reached out to our selling realtor for some assistance. We were then referred to Bradley Hix with Century 21 as they were partner companies with our selling realtor. From the start we were very impressed with how quickly he responded, how friendly he was on the phone, his attention to detail, and his willingness to communicate with our selling realtor to make sure both processes went smooth from the start. We had a 6 hour drive each way in order to look at houses/meet with Bradley. So being able to work with our hectic schedule for showing was critical. Bradley made it work every time we drove into town including weekends as that was typically the only times we had available. While looking at multiple properties, he took the extra time to give us to great recommendation and show us parts of town that he thought we might like for dining, entertainment, shopping, etc. We quickly learned that he is very involved with the local community and members of several clubs which meant a lot to us due to our line of work. He gave us some wonderful recommendations of homes that he thought fit what we were looking for. We made our decision to purchase the house of our dreams on a lake front. We quickly realized that the seller of the property was extremely difficult to deal with. We feel that Bradley went above and beyond to help us land the deal on the home we wanted. He spent well above the average amount of time to make sure it worked out in the end. And for that we are very appreciative. In the end, we not only purchased the house of our dreams but we made a really great friendship with a really great guy! We highly recommend Bradley to anyone looking to purchase a home in the area. Brad hosted an open house of a home my wife and I had our eyes on. He was personable and friendly. He let us look around the house without bothering me and was there when I had questions.
