I have had a lot of family and friends who have bought and sold properties through "Cookie" Melanson , and everyone has been more than pleased. She knows this business better than anyone. Her warm and caring nature is refreshing. If it wasn't for Cookie I would not have been able to have purchased my perfect home! I first met with her a couple years ago & she had a mortgage broker with her so they could let me know where I was as far as credit and what I had to do to get everything in order to purchase a home. At that point I wasn't quite ready and was a little discouraged, but Cookie kept in touch with me and in a genuine caring way helped me until she thought I was ready, then had me come back in to meet with her and the mortgage broker again and I was finally ready! She showed me a few houses until we found the one that was perfect for my family, and we bought it! My family and I could not be happier! I dont think it would have happened if it wasn't for Cookie. She is amazing, we still keep in touch, she became a good friend . We love her and will refer everyone thinking about purchasing a home to see my friend Cookie! So many people have told me that the closing on a home was painfully long and confusing. They obviously haven't been dealing with Cookie. It was so quick, and she sat right next to me and explained everything as went along, I was so pleased with the whole process. Cookie got me the house for less than the asking price which was great! We were looking for a house in Peabody, she may as well be the Mayor! She knows everything and everyone in that city. As I said previously, Cookie is amazing, a genuinely warm caring person, we love her If it wasn't for Cookie and the mortgage broker she set me up with, I probably would not have been able to purchase my new home! I will send anyone who is looking for a house to go see my friend Cookie, she will make it happen!
