Originally from the Chicago area, my family moved to the Washington DC Metro region in 1967, where both my parents taught for the Fairfax County Public Schools. After growing up in Northern Virginia and graduating from George Mason University, I moved to Montgomery County, Maryland in 1987. After first living in Kensington, we bought our first home in Gaithersburg in 1989. In 1998, we bought a new home in Germantown where I currently live with my wife Jean and daughter Jenna. Both my wife and I love our area and our neighbors and are active and committed volunteers in the community. In addition to my wife and daughter, we also have developed a cadre of animals. We have 2 dogs, a Cairn Terrier and a German Sheppard as well as 3 Guinea Pigs. What I like most about my job is meeting people, learning about their lifestyles and needs so I can match them with the best neighborhoods and homes. Being a natural problem solver and task manager, allows me to stay on top of all the tasks that need to be managed throughout the home sale process. When you are buying or selling a home no one wants surprises, so I communicate continually with my clients so they know where everything stands and what to expect as the transaction progresses to settlement. Most of all, it is my goal to ensure my clients feel very comfortable and confident that their home purchase or sale is in good hands and they will know that their best interest is always in the forefront of my attention.

We found Dave to be honest, direct and knowledgeable about the real estate industry, the local community and about homeownership. We appreciated his insight and his communication was top notch; he kept us updated and was always accessible, even after hours. We looked at a lot of houses and we wondered if we were putting him through the ringer with the number of tours we were doing, but he assured us often that our experience and method was not unusual en route to finding a home that we love.
