Originally from the Chicago area, my family moved to the Washington DC Metro region in 1967, where both my parents taught for the Fairfax County Public Schools. After growing up in Northern Virginia and graduating from George Mason University, I moved to Montgomery County, Maryland in 1987. After first living in Kensington, we bought our first home in Gaithersburg in 1989. In 1998, we bought a new home in Germantown where I currently live with my wife Jean and daughter Jenna. Both my wife and I love our area and our neighbors and are active and committed volunteers in the community. In addition to my wife and daughter, we also have developed a cadre of animals. We have 2 dogs, a Cairn Terrier and a German Sheppard as well as 3 Guinea Pigs. What I like most about my job is meeting people, learning about their lifestyles and needs so I can match them with the best neighborhoods and homes. Being a natural problem solver and task manager, allows me to stay on top of all the tasks that need to be managed throughout the home sale process. When you are buying or selling a home no one wants surprises, so I communicate continually with my clients so they know where everything stands and what to expect as the transaction progresses to settlement. Most of all, it is my goal to ensure my clients feel very comfortable and confident that their home purchase or sale is in good hands and they will know that their best interest is always in the forefront of my attention.

Seller reviewEverything went so smoothly. Dave came over right away after I first talked to him and from that day forward, things moved along really well. The house sold very quickly and the closing happened soon there after. Even with being in a different area everything worked out, so I can't really think of anything that needs improving. A huge thank you to Dave. A really nice person and a very knowledgeable/ professional realtor.

As we go along with the process, I found that Mr. Bender is very knowledgeable and familiar with the local characteristics so he could provide me very practical advices. He gave me such honest opinions on matters and that helped me for the decision-making too . I experienced that Mr.Bender provided me such good explanation for the documents so it was easy for me to work through the paperwork. He has offered many proactive tasks as well such as visiting the property to check for more info, emails or texts, searching for history of sales, etc. He made sure that I get enough info and answers in details so everything goes smoothly in a timely manner. Mr. Bender was always available, by calls and messaging, so I knew I could rely on his work. He respected my personal considerations /conveniences and he was willing to made some adjustments for me. Seller reviewDave Bender was extremely helpful in selling my home as an out-of-state home owner. He coordinated with my previous property manager for a seamless turnover and helped get all of the necessary repairs done in order to prepare my home for sale. Communication is great and he followed up with Title and any other parties to make sure closing would go smoothly.
