My hobbies and interests include spending time with family and friends. Over the years, you will have found me supporting my kids throught their various activities and sporting events. I am passionate about being actively involved as a parent volunteer in their activities and club sports. In my free time, you will usually find me at the office, focusing on my clients' needs and further educating myself about anything related to real estate. Life is too short. I'm proud to call DeKalb County home. Having grown up in a rural, DeKalb County farming community, then moving to the City of DeKalb to raise my family, I bring deep local knowledge and strong community connections to my work. My journey in real estate began in 2004, following a rewarding 19-year career in the banking industry, where I served DeKalb County and surrounding communities in operations management and residential lending. That experience gave me a strong foundation in loan origination, underwriting, and servicing knowledge that continues to benefit my clients as they navigate the buying and selling process. Real estate quickly grew from a career change into my true passion. Dawn also gave us excellent advice on what items to repair/spruce up for the sale of our house plus reassured us about the things that were acceptable to leave "as is" based on the age and price point of our home. Dawn ended up obtaining/securing a "full priced cash offer" with "zero concessions" which allowed us to make our out of state move that we desired.
