I am an Horry County native and a full-time Realtor® with CENTURY 21 Thomas. Growing up on a farm in Green Sea, South Carolina and an alumnus of Coastal Carolina University, I take pride in my strong work ethic and honesty. These qualities have enabled me to build many long-lasting relationships. On a personal note, I am a volunteer at the Grand Strand Miracle League and am active in my church. I am an avid outdoorsman and enjoy fishing and hunting. Most of all, I enjoy spending time on our beautiful beach. My goal as a real estate agent is to help both buyers and sellers by making each real estate transaction as smooth and simple for them as possible. Buyer reviewWithout Derek Fairfax, I probably would not have purchased my home. Derek's approach was laid back, not trying to pressure me. Additionally, I had a large level in trust that Derek had my best interest in mind. As Derek is Christian, I could discuss with him that I was looking to God to open and shut doors if this house was not meant for me. Derek's honesty and willingness to answer all questions patiently also went a long way to put me at ease. He promptly returned my phone calls.

Seller reviewDerek Fairfax helped us with a purchase and sale all within a two month timeframe. He communicates constantly to let you know what is going on. He was also kind enough to help me move into our house which was not an easy task. If you are looking for someone to either help you buy or sell a property in the area, in my opinion, Derek would be the best choice.

We are both 20 and 21, we knew nothing about purchasing a home and Derek explained things to us very well and was available for questions 24/7. He was very patient with us and was very knowledgeable. We have alaready begun telling our friends who are looking to buy to contact him and we will continue. He was awesome!!!! He is one of the bests, if not THE best!!!
