Seller reviewWe worked with Elaine Melby on both the purchase and the sale of our home in Carterville. In both cases she educated us, kept us informed and advocated for us to a degree that I've never seen before or imagined. She used her knowledge of the home sales industry to alert us to things we never could have known on our own and helped to make sure that things were done correctly and to our advantage, even when it meant more work and hassle for her. She was tenacious about spotting and staying on top of potential issues/snags at all stages of the sale and making sure that they were addressed and resolved. She is passionate about protecting her clients, and is able to do that effectively with complete professionalism, honesty, and respect for all parties involved. She has a superb understanding of the market and the savvy to know how to price, market, stage and show a house for quick sale, and on the other side, to negotiate as a buyer. I am convinced that her expertise and hard work got us a speed of sale and a price we never could have foreseen, and she was able to make it fun in the process. The value is incredible; she just knows and loves the business and has the people skills and the communication skills to get results. Even more importantly, she does this all with a pleasant and fun attitude. She is a joy to work with. Elaine is a true gem, we respect her more than words can say. We have grown to love her and consider her a friend. I wish we could take her with us to help with our next home purchase.

Seller reviewElaine clearly understood my home sale needs. She not only met those needs but exceeded them. I was unable to deal with the pressures of selling my home of 30 years and she took that pressure off of me by handling all the necessary matters at hand. I have personally/professionally known Elaine Melby for many years. Elaine holds a proffessional sales reputation in the community that exceeds all others. That's why I selected her for the sale of my home.

Buyer reviewElaine Melby goes out of her way to help with anything you need. She spends all the time you need, and willingly, to get you to where you need to be. She is a one woman support system. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for help with buying or selling a home. She has a wide network of folks who think highly of her and are there to help when you need them. I wouldn't use anyone else.

Seller reviewWhen we bought a house through Elsine, she really represented us. After the home inspection. Elaine carefully wrote what needed to be done before we would be interested in continuing with the purchase. She was tough in a very professional way.

Buyer reviewMy husband and I met Elaine Melby for the first time at an open house in our area. We were immediately impressed with her knowledge and insight into renovating properties. She has an amazing disposition and is so kind and sincere, we knew she was the one to help us find our new home! Elaine was always readily available to show us properties in our area. We looked at multiple homes in varying price ranges, trying to decide if we wanted to do a fixer upper or buy one that was move in ready. Elaine was always very informative about all of the properties that we saw, and often offered us helpful insights into renovations possibilities. Again--an amazing woman! She is able to juggle a lot of glass balls at one time and never drops one! Elaine Melby is a true motivated multi tasker, always being kind and patient and never making you feel as if you are bothering her. She functions in a fast paced career setting but never did we feel hurried or rushed. The purchase of our home went quickly and efficiently all thanks to Elaine's constant care to detail. My OCD nature absolutely loved that :) I would highly recommend Elaine to friends and family for any of their real estate needs. We are so pleased that we had the privilege of working with Elaine. Just a wonderful experience from start to finish. I love meeting new people, but especially when I am a better person for meeting them! Many many thanks to Elaine for everything!
