As first time home-buyers, we were terrified. We were tired of dumping our money into the rental system, so we began looking at homes online. Once we had determined our budget, we were ready to go. We met Harold Pendleton from Century 21 at the first house we looked at. The first house we intentionally chose as a "fixer-upper." Harold immediately went to work checking for sagging floors and other immediate concerns. He knew we were first-time buyers; Harold really went the extra mile to explain how we could check for certain problems. This impressed me greatly. I had expected a realtor to be like a pushy car salesman but nothing was further from the truth. Harold had the demeanor of a family-friend. Harold really cares about finding a quality home for each of his clients. As I said above, I have no experience in realty. I'm a teacher. Harold has many years of experience. He actually even helped with our interest rate just by telling us it keeps rising until you lock it in. That will save us money long-term. Harold Pendleton was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. We were so lucky to have him on our team. When we wanted to look at a house, he arranged it into his schedule as quickly as he possibly could. He works hard at what he does, and I am very grateful that we met Harold on that first day. We have been in the new house for a week, and I can't believe we found such a nice place for our budget!
