Helen did an outstanding job with this transactions as well as the others she worked on with us. She is always available - day or night, weekday or weekend. She has a great deal of knowledge which was instrumental in allowing us to make informed decisions. We are not the easiest to work with and yet Helen exceeded every expectation - patient, a shoulder to lean on, caring and considerate. She is an asset to the agency and adds tremendous value. Saying thank you just doesn't seem enough. Helen came recommended from another sales associate of yours (Janet Costi). Janet couldn't have chosen a better person to help sell our family home of 57 years. Our Dad is 82 and Mom 78. This is the only home our family has known since 1959. So you can imagine how hard it was for all of us. Our Dad has Alzheimer's Disease and our Mom is his primary caregiver. It was extremely important to move our parents closer to their children (Ocean County). When I first spoke to Helen I felt immediate comfort. I explained the concerns we all had with the move, especially with our Dad. She 100% understood and always had our parents interest. Their house was on the market and was under contract in less than three (3) weeks and we got full asking price! We were under a tight time limit at that point to find our parents a new home. My sisters and I dragged Helen all through Leisure Knoll in Manchester two (2) to three (3) times a week. Sometimes looking at the same house a few times. We had a certain style house in mind for our parents. Helen went along with us....for a while. Then she started showing us other models which she though would be more conducive to our parents needs. Well, the stubborn sisters didn't agree (lol). We must have looked at over 25 homes...not kidding. Helen couldn't have been more patient knowing she knew best. We narrowed it down to five (5) before we had our Mom come look at them. The one Helen thought was best (Mitzi's house) was the one our Mom fell in love with!! Still, the stubborn sisters tried talking our Mom into the model we "thought" was best for them. We had Mom talked into the model we wanted them to have but the deal fell through....perhaps divine intervention. Helen suggested taking our Mom back for another look at Mitzi's house. When we got there Helen sat down with Mom in the living room of Mitzi's house and they talked for about half an hour. Our Mom "saw" their furniture and future in the house......She was sold....so were her kids. Mommy was happy. She felt at home here. We were under contract within a few days. Dealing with our parents lawyer throughout the process was a nightmare. It took weeks longer than it should have because of their unprofessionalism. Again, Helen was very patient and understanding. The lawyer somehow miscalculated the escrow. At closing on our parents home they didn't have enough money for Helen's commission. She graciously held her commission until it was straightened out. I think it was a few weeks before she got it. Who does that???? Helen Rescigno and Century 21 About Town Realty. That's who. The entire process was stressful but Helen eased all of us. She truly went above and beyond for our parents. And for that we are eternally grateful. I have and will continue to recommend Helen and Century 21 About Town Realty.

Where do I begin? Selling the only family home we knew was going to be rough (emotionally). Our parents bought it in 1959, raised five kids there. Grand children and great grand children have also made lasting memories there. It was time though to move our parents closer to their children. This is where Helen comes in. She had our parents home was sold in ten days!! It was time to look for a new home. We knew she would help us find the perfect home for them. We looked at many!! One of the first homes we looked at Helen said "This is the one for your parents". But we (the kids) were determined to get something different, something we thought would "better suit" them. Helen was extremely patient with us we dragged her to look at many other homes, sometimes visiting the same one a few times. Well after a few months of looking we came full circle to the one Helen knew was perfect. And it is. Our parents are moving in in a few weeks and they couldn't be more pleased. What is an extremely emotional time for our family was eased with Helen's professionalism and genuine concern for our parents. She has become part of our family. For that, thank you just doesn't seem enough. The Alexander children are eternally grateful for all you hard work and perseverance Helen. You will be highly recommended!
