The Broker itself didn't really matter to me...although I was a Century 21 Agent for 10 years or so in GA. I wanted an Agent who would listen to me and my concerns, knew the area, had a decent amount of listings and sales, used proper pricing, and was personable. I had been paying attention to area agents on line from GA : Ken Harris seemed to fit the bill for MY needs! His listings were priced properly, lowered quickly if necessary, and sold quickly as well. My house went on the market on a Monday. By Wednesday we had the first offer. By Saturday at 10:00am there had been multiple offers and I had signed a purchase offer. I never expected to move that quickly on selling. I think the reason it sold so fast was that it was properly priced. Ken did his comps, and I upped the price he gave me by a grand, based on my research. Ken was on the ball, and easy to reach. I was nervous because I never sold a house before. Ken Harris calmed my fears and told me he would get my house sold. - And he did ! I'm very happy with the job that was done. Steve Davoli Real Estate has a big presence in the Geneva area. Besides watching Steve grow the business over the years, I believed they were more knowledgeable of the mid - priced market that I was trying to sell in. The thing we're probably most thankful to Ken for is that the house we ended up buying was initially not even a house my wife and I were considering. He called us up and suggested we take a look at it, he thought it would be a good fit for us, and thought we out of at least take a look. It was in a great location, hit almost all of the items on our wish list, and was actually much less expensive than some of the houses we'd been looking at.
