Kristin's institutional knowledge, the people she surrounds herself with, and her ability to teach you about the housing market provide her clients a level of confidence that makes you feel minimal anxiety and very well taken care of. She is a real-estate mentor in the way she treats her clients. I have never felt alone while working with Kristen. I always felt as though there was someone in my corner making magic happen to buy or sell the houses. I think I waited for her to call me back once because she was on a plane. I know that because when she called me back, she called me from the tarmac just to say sorry she didn't return the call sooner. Having attempted to use two other agents, it was surreal to find Kristen and finally understand what a realtor is supposed to be. She doesn't apply pressure, put you outside of your budget, or really seem all to concerned with commissions. What she does do is enjoy the journey with you as a homebuyer and make sure that the home you find is the home you were looking for. If I was more of a people person, I would want to be a realtor because of how enjoyable the experience always is with Kristen. She makes buying a home fun. I have worked with Kristen Burns on purchasing two homes and selling one. I can't imagine working with anyone else.

I live in FL and my sister (owner of the property in Dumfries, VA) passed away Feb 21, 2023. A friend of my sister recommended contacting Kristin as she had worked with her husband Joe for a number of years. When I arrived at my sister's home Feb 27, contacted Kristin Feb 28 to see about starting the process of selling the home as it was in the Family Trust. Due to having to go to Probate for portions of my sister's estate, the sale was not able to be accomplished until the present with sale finalized Mon Jul 10, 2023. Did not know about Kristin until my sister had passed and was then recommended. But those items (about realtor integrity) did become very important as the weeks and months passed as Kristin displayed great kindness and patience toward my situation as I was navigating through this process. Did not anticipate the home to sell as quickly as it did. When the listing went active online Jun 22, the first appointment at 11am turned out to be the new buyers of the home. Was pleasantly surprised and grateful for such an unexpected outcome. The quick sale of the home was due to Kristin's expertise in knowing what would need to be done in getting the home in the best condition possible in preparation for sale. This included getting the home deep cleaned after the Estate Sale concluded, then having the interior repainted, rooms recarpeted, items needing repair taken care of, and the install of the new roof as part of the closing. Also the staging of the interior of the home was exceptional and no doubt contributed greatly to the prompt sale of the home. Really appreciated Kristin's knowledge and contacts of all the appropriate entities to expertly handle the various aspects of the home quickly that needed to be addressed in preparation for the sale. Due to the lengthy time period between my sister's passing and actual sale of the home, was very grateful to have Kristin representing me through this process as Realtor, especially displaying great patience since there was a lot of uncertainty during the Probate process. Am not sure if a lot of other realtors would have been willing to endure such a long, sometimes uncertain outcome to the now conclusion of the sale of the home. Am very grateful to Kristin for guiding me through the process of selling of the home with detailed emails of related information and always keeping me in the loop either by email or by text. Kristin's expertise in the selling of the home was exceptional and I greatly appreciate it.
