As a life-long resident of South Carolina, and having lived in Summerville since 1990, I can truly say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I'm hooked on living in the Lowcountry! I love helping clients acquire the home of their dreams, as well as helping others sell their home when the time comes. I also work with investors in their search to purchase or sell rental homes. Looking for land to build on, or for hunting or fishing? I'm your professional for that too! Being an honor graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Business Administration has been a real asset to me in my real estate career. I am honored to have been named Realtor of Distinction by the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors for four years running. I am proud to have served as 2017 President of the North Area Top Producers Club, and to have received the Quality Service Award from Century 21 corporate for four years. My designations include Seniors Real Estate Specialist and Certified Negotiation Expert. My top priorities are to protect the best interests of my clients and to provide excellent service, which I will do with integrity and professionalism.

Seller reviewWhen we moved to the area a few years prior we contacted several agents. We picked Lou because she always answered the phone or promptly returned our calls. She was very familiar with the market and area and a pleasure to work with. She helped us buy our home and she was there to help us sell it 4 years later when we had to relocate for work. Lou took a proactive approach and managed the extremely hot market well. Her knowledge and experience in handling the many offers and providing professional guidance led to our receiving 30K over our list price and 20K above a cash offer we were considering. She was great throughout the whole process. Regardless of the day and time, Lou answered and/or promptly returned our calls and got the answers we were looking for. She managed all the inspections and coordinated minor repairs requested by the buyer through a contractor for us which helped out a lot. Lou has extensive real estate knowledge of the area, is tireless in her efforts to serve her clients, and will get you to closing without any stress, a true real estate professional who knows the low country well.

She dealt with me being out of state for this whole process, a difficult HOA, multiple showings/offers and I'm sure things I wasn't even aware of. She was patient, knowledgeable, honest and provided sound guidance through the whole process. I would highly recommend her to anyone in the area. Being a blunt military man, I would not give this praise to all but she was a consummate professional throughout this sale.

My lack of knowledge and expertise meant that I was wholly reliant on the advocacy and professionalism of the team I was assigned. Within first contact with Lou Minus, I was confident that I would be in good hands. She listened to all of the property requirements I had, and sent me multiple options weekly to choose from. She was able to book showings in a timely manner, and communicated efficiently with seller representatives whenever necessary. If I needed help with research, she would find answers that same day. Upon finding a desired property, she worked tirelessly to update the contracts and make an offer. Within just two weeks of diligent searching, we were able to secure a property and eventually close.
