I called the main office number and Marie Alafa answered. I didn't know if she was a secretary, an agent, or the broker of record when we first starting talking. After talking with her about my needs (probate sale in Visalia, I am from Southern California and not local) and learning she was indeed an agent I offered her the listing on the spot. I was impressed by her attitude and both her personal knowledge of real estate sales in Visalia and her knowledge of resources I would need to utilize (movers, termite, handymen, hauling out junk, getting carpets cleaned, getting house cleaned, etc.) for a successful sale. additionally the house had a reverse mortgage with time dwindling down to sell or be foreclosed. I myself am a real estate Broker and knew what I needed in an agent to represent me in Visalia Marie is the hardest working agent I have ever met! I am a real estate broker and have 15 years in the business. My office is number 1 in my city so we have tremendous agents. But Marie would be the number one agent in my office in my opinion. She went way out of her way to help me sell household items and dispose of a lot of items. I am 250 miles away so I depended on her to do a lot of things for me that a normal seller would have to do for themselves. Her care, loyalty, and confidentiality were outstanding. All the neighbors loved her too.
