Marie graduated High School in Hudson, attended Pasco-Hernando Community College graduating with a AA degree in Business Accounting, than attended the University of South Florida majoring in Marketing. As a single parent, Marie raised her daughter in Hudson while working in various aspects of the construction and restaurant industries. Marie's background includes customer service, management, marketing and accounting.
Marie now lives in Spring Hill and enjoys spending time with family and friends. Marie has been selling real estate in Hernando, Pasco and Citrus Counties since 2003. Her commitment to education and perfecting her craft drove her to obtain her GRI (Graduate Realtor® Institute) Designation in 2004, her CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) Designation in 2005, her Brokers license in 2006, and then her Instructor license in 2007.
Marie is a member of the Hernando County Association of REALTORS®, West Pasco Board of REALTORS®, Florida REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®. She is also a Notary Public/Notary Signing Agent which requires yearly background checks and continuing education.
Marie was born in Brooklyn, NY, moved to Margate, FL in 1969. In 1976, she relocated to the Pasco-Hernando area. Seller reviewHad dealings with Marie Mclaughlin previously, and was very satisfied with her knowledge and capability to deliver. Would use her again and have suggested to others they consider her for any real estate business. She GREAT! Closing went very smoothly and Marie kept us updated to any changes. Seller reviewOver the last 40 years, I have purchased eight homes and sold nine (three as a fiduciary) in six markets in four states (New York, Arizona, South Carolina and now Florida) with seventeen different Realtors. Marie McLaughlin is head and shoulders above the other sixteen and the only one I missed talking to after my deal was closed. I could not have had a better experience than I just did in selling this property with Marie. I would like to explain how helpful and trustworthy Marie was. I sold this property as a fiduciary. I have no connection to the Spring Hill/Hudson. I knew no one in the area and hadn't visited the property in at least a half dozen years. I figured the property would need work, but not what kind or how much. Marie honestly and accurately communicated with me about just what was needed and referred to me a myriad of tradespeople to perform the work. A handyman. A painter. A locksmith. An electrician. A cleaner. A yard guy. Each of them did a great job, was pleasant to deal with, reliable, and reasonably priced. Her network was a great value add to me! One thing I did know about the property was that I had a title problem that had to be fixed. I related it to Marie, and she hooked me up early with a terrific title person. Later it turned out that I had not only the title problem I knew about, but several others that I didn't know about to boot. Marie and Marie's title referral resolved all of them efficiently. More value add by Marie! Marie was such a value for the money that had I been selling for my own account rather than as a fiduciary, I would have paid her another 1% commission. I got a terrific sales result for my beneficiaries: in under two weeks, she generated multiple offers over my asking price, and a sale price about 7% more than I'd expected when we listed. I knew about one minute into our first conversation that I wanted to work with Marie. I sensed that she was focused as well as pleasant and that she was going to sell my property. I don't think we talked for more than a couple minutes before I told her the listing was hers if she wanted it. My experience totally validated that judgment.

Seller reviewMarie Mclaughlin was a fantastic and went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. She took the time to make sure the seller, 93 year old widow understood the process at every step. She even took personal time to check on her client when her family was out of town and her house was basically empty. Not to mention, she rescued me when I left the hose running in the pool and remembered 3 hours away. I called her, she dropped everything and went by to shut off the water and make sure nothing was damaged. Overall great experience with Marie Mclaughlin!! We would use her again.

Seller reviewMarie is a wonderful,kind and caring agent. I had just lost my beloved and she always treated me with respect. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to sell their home. She is a wonderful agent. One who should make you proud she is one of yours. Her exceptional service has put Century 21 Realty in the nicest of lights. I was in no position to really know what was happening as my daughter moved me to Pennsylvania so I was not even there to oversee anything. The entire burden felll on Marie's shoulders which she handlers like a trooper.
