We had been in contact with an agent from another company for several months and were not happy with his performance. My aunt recommended Mary Dunphy to us. As soon as we started working with Mary, our house hunting experience completely changed; we were comfortable with her and could tell she was a trustworthy person. As the parents of a young child, we felt she understood what we were looking for in a house and a community. She was always available to answer our questions by phone, text, and email and to show us any houses that we were interested in. Since we could not afford a completely renovated home, we were pleased that we ended up with a house that we could fix up and make our own in a nice neighborhood. Mary was open to all of my questions about the real estate market a year ahead of our search and she jump started our actual search by finding a great home for us to see once we did get serious. She gave wonderful advice about the homes we saw and the negotiation process. She guided us and got us a great dea on the house we eventually bid on. Invaluablel. Mary was extremely helpful in the negotiation of the price of my new home. During the offer and counter offer Mary was able to get the sellers to come down an additional $5000.00. Mary has a very calm disposition. When we encountered some problems with our financing and mortgage commitment she was the level head for us. Mary was always very reassuring and was in constant contact with the sellers' broker as we were going through the bumps in the process reassuring them that all would turn out fine. Which it did! Through our recommendation of Mary to my son and daughter-in-law, Mary was instrumental in helping them purchase their first home. I would recommend Mary to anyone in the purchase and selling of their home.
