I have lived in 10 states and have owned many houses, so I am familiar with the real estate process. However, even with my experiences, I found that my Realtor, Maureen Monte, went beyond her call of duty!!! In all of my previous purchases, I knew it was just a temporary living situation, so I did not dwell so much on finding the perfect home/location. However, with this purchase, I was coming back to NJ for good and I wanted to have a home for my current use and one that will get past down to future generations. The problem was that I did not know what type of home I wanted and what town (I had narrowed it down to the County at least). Also, I had a time constraint because I was only visiting NJ for 30 days, so I needed to find a home, get through Attorney Review, and have the Inspection done before I left! I would send Maureen listings that were 180 degrees different from the previous listing, so I was all over the board and it had to be very difficult, yet she was always attentive and accommodating to my needs. Although she had other clients, she gave me (and I am sure the others) the attention as though I was her only client. She help steered me in the direction that I needed to be and helped ground me when I was out of control at times! When we walked into "THE HOUSE", we both knew it….now, my concern was what it would take for me to win the contract! I had already lost one contract, but I needed to in order to realize what I was really looking for. I was not ready to lose this house. Maureen put together an aggressive contract very quickly and we won the contract! Since this house had a major upgrade, she went out of her way to be sure that all permits were closed properly. I have never had an agent do this before. In addition to so many other things, Maureen did the final walkthrough for me since I was closing remotely. From the time we put the contract in, to the time we closed it was less than four weeks!!! Maureen is so amazing that my daughter plans to use her for both the sale of her current home and purchase of her new one. We will also be recommending her to others. After going through this process, I consider Maureen my new friend! Thank you Maureen!!!
