Seller reviewI met Michele 8 years ago when I was searching for a new home in the Ballston Metro area (Arlington, County, VA). She was referred to me by a work colleague who enjoyed working with Michele years before. We instantly connected. I appreciated her friendly, down-to-earth demeanor, while at the same time, her ability to demonstrate high-quality professionalism and a willingness to "go the extra mile" to get me into a new home. When it came time to sell that home 8 years later (due to a retirement-related relocation), I thought no further than hiring Michele to be my agent. She compiled a set of comps that supported a much higher sale value than I was expecting, and we had 22 viewings and three offers in three days! Michele contacted each of the buyers agents to discuss terms, and worked with me to select the strongest offer. It was an incredibly busy couple of weeks and Michele never left us hanging, not even for a moment. I'm very thankful for her service, and will always consider her more of a friend than a real estate agent.

Seller reviewMy husband and I first worked with Michele when we were buying our first home in 2012. She expertly guided us through the process and calmed our anxieties that all first-time home buyers have. She found a condo that we bought and LOVED- one that she brought to our attention. When we went to buy a single-family home a few years later as our family grew, we knew immediately that we wanted Michele to be our agent again. She assisted us in purchasing our forever home and handled the unexpected complexities involved in closing on that house flawlessly. Then in 2018, we wanted to sell our first home (which we had been renting out) and went right back to Michele without hesitation. We knew she would do the best job and help us get it in shape so we could get the price we wanted. She got us $5,000 over our asking price in six days on the market! She also went to bat for us when we had issues with some of the contracted work, which we appreciated greatly: we simply told her what the problem was and she worked with the contractor to have it corrected without asking anything else of us. Michele is kind, hard-working, honest, patient, and very knowledgeable. It's been a privilege to work with her regarding our real estate transactions.

Seller reviewWe cannot begin to say enough good things about Mrs. Symcak. Michele went above and beyond ordinary realtor duties and responsibilities. In addition to be a qualified, experienced, and professional realtor her outstanding character also deserves recognition. Living out of state prior, during, and after the sale could have been a real headache for us (as the sellers) but Michele made it seem easy. She was always available to take our calls and coordinate things on our behalf which was often on account of our geographical separation from the property. She offered sound advice and evidence based recommendations. Her attitude was superb every time we conversed with her and she was so pleasant to talk to. Michele has a wonderful balance in being both hopeful and encouraging while also being practical and candid. Michele developed a solid sales plan around our desires and executed it efficiently. We would highly recommend Michele Symcak as a realtor to anyone and we could only wish more realtors took the same amount of pride in their work as she does.

Buyer reviewI've worked with Michele on numerous transactions and she is very easy to work with... quick to respond and address issues/questions that arise. In this instance, she identified various home attributes that would affect our children; alerted seller agent when the agent took actions that would cause problems with VA appraiser; and went above and beyond (e.g. painting) to make up for seller's agent oversights.
