Personal Profile

As a native San Antonian, Monica has had the opportunity to see the city shift and change to become the world class city it is today. Owning and living in multiple homes in a variety of neighborhoods throughout her life, she has experienced parts of the city and has local knowledge of areas that most people haven't been able to experience.

She brings a unique perspective as your Realtor because of this knowledge, not only of the many neighborhoods, but also some of the city's best attractions including shopping and dining. Monica is a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio where she earned a degree in Business Management. Working within the finance industry for 13 years she focused on sales, service and compliance issues and has carried that experience over to her real estate business. Her level of commitment is evident as she has been recognized consistently for her integrity, sincerity, and quality of character.

Monica is also passionate about giving back to the community and is actively involved in local missions through her church and has been a member of the Junior League of San Antonio since 2006.

Monica loves many things, including real estate, but aside from that she is surrounded by the love of her husband Phillip, sons Erich and Matthew, and a cocker spaniel named Cookie.

After the extremely quick sale by Monica of our home on 11 Kings Canyon, we were a bit panicked to find a new home, not wanting to have to rent. Monica worked diligently and seemingly tirelessly to help us find just the right home. We looked at endless amounts of homes just to check out different areas and neighborhoods to rule them out. She was patient with us and provided lots of feedback to help us narrow down our searches. When we would get frustrated or anxious she always had a way of gently calming us down and reassuring us that we would find THE house we were looking for. When we found a house we thought was it, she did research on the history and convinced the realtor of that house that the sellers were asking way too much - even with upgrades, due to the price they had paid for it when they originally purchased it. She must have been convincing because the realtor reduced the price by 30,000 the next day! We immediately put a bid on the house and they accepted it. Long story short, after using the inspection team Monica recommended, we ended up backing out of the house because the septic tank was shot and the roof and other parts of the home needed alot of repair. Devastated, we continued our search and she helped us find a home-out of our price range, but due to the zip code, we were able to save 500 a month because we weren't paying city taxes. We were thrilled, put an offer on the home, the owners countered and we accepted! Seriously we couldn't be happier!! We have 2 plus acres, a pool, beautifully landscaped fenced-in yard, a beautiful 4500 square foot home with endless upgrades and we are located close to where our boys attend school. The process was tough as moving can be, but she gently and persistently walked us through every step of the way with kid like gloves. We felt protected by her when encountering unfairness with the other realtors or sellers, laughed together and cried (us not her:) and are so very thankful that she helped make our dream home come true! The only regret I have is that I won't be spending as much time with her! We really enjoyed her company! Thanks for everything Monica!!! impeccable character!
