I was born and raised in Maine where I spent 52 years building a wonderful family and multi-location retail jewelry business. After decades of shoveling snow, snow blowing and very cold winters, my wife and I had lost our love of winter. Both of our daughters had left the nest so 8 years ago we found Citrus County, essentially Maine without the Cold and Snow and moved to Pine Ridge Estates in Beverly Hills. After running the retail chain from long distance with many airline miles to Maine, I ultimately decided it was time to change careers. With a BS in Accounting and Finance and an extensive background in Sales, marketing, sales training and management it was obvious that Real estate was a perfect fit. Having a love of people and knowing the value of always putting the client first I decided that J.W. Morton Real Estate, Inc was the right firm to work with. Buyer reviewNick was and is excellent.....We had been looking along the coast from VA to FL and also TN when we stumbled upon Nick. We felt he was actually interested in helping us locate our retirement home. When we asked to visit a select list of homes he accommodated us and did not try to push us onto his listing, that kind of BS made us drop a dozen realtors over the past 2 years. I believe I ended up selecting this home and FL because we connected, we trusted, and Nick delivered. I now consider him a friend and I can tell you, I have never said that about a realtor or used car salesman in my life.
