Hi! I'm Rita Johnson, a Broker Associate
I married the love of my life in 1980 and we moved around the U.S. a lot with his job until he chose early
retirement. We picked Citrus County, FL, for the next chapter of our lives because it is the Nature Coast
of Florida. We have two sons and now twin toddler grandsons - who are perfect, of course.
I first became a realtor in my home town in Ohio years ago, and put it on hold while we moved around.
During that time I managed a very successful mortgage company and also worked as a paralegal for
many years, both experiences provided a great deal of knowledge that helps in the real estate business.
When we settled in Citrus County, I renewed my license and sold hundreds of homes for a builder before
joining the top agency in this area of Florida, Century 21/J.W. Morton.
The past 15 years have flown by as we have relished the beauty and tranquility of the Gulf Coast of
Florida. I enjoy introducing new residents to this treasure we discovered, as well as assisting current
residents who return to ask my help for another move.

Buyer reviewI had been on the zillow site when I found this property that I was interested in. So when I called about it Rita answered rite away even though it was a Saturday I told her I was about 2hrs away but I will get in the car to go check it out and she answered rite away " ok, I'll see you soon". She had told me on the phone that someone had also been interested In the property, but that was ok, cause she had other's for me to look at as well. So me and my daughter drove the 2hrs. Rita was full of energy and excitement to show me what was available. I liked the fact that she drove as well as explaining what was around as we traveled threw different areas. I did purchase a home and it wasn't even the one I was first interested in.
