Ruthie's parents opened the first bakery in Myrtle Beach in the 1940's in what was then the thriving downtown area. The whole family pitched in and did whatever was needed - they were a team and she enjoyed that feeling. She relives that "team" feeling each time she is part of a sale or purchase of real estate here in her hometown. Ruthie enjoys assisting buyers and sellers with their real estate needs and she feels that whether you are selling or buying, the experience should be enjoyable! Ruthie loves showing off "her" beach. Ruthie was educated in Myrtle Beach schools, Coastal Carolina University, the University of South Carolina, Ohio State University and the University of Texas. She earned an MBA in Finance and Marketing and completed Leadership Grand Strand, Leadership South Carolina and the Coastal Carolinas Association of Realtors Leadership Program. She is presently serving on four Boards in a volunteer capacity which provides a way for her to give back to the community as well as a reliable avenue for keeping current on the latest news and events that could have an impact on the local market. Having this knowledge of the area and a great deal of marketing, negotiating and contract experience, her focus is to ensure her clients are happy. When the right price is reached, the perfect property is found or sold, and things so smoothly, the Real Estate transaction is as stress free as possible - and that is her goal! She specializes in real estate sales and purchases in the coastal region of South Carolina, specifically Horry and Georgetown Counties.
