I knew from the moment I saw Sandy Swanson's picture on her Century 21 advertisement in our local church bulletin, she was somebody I wanted to work with! I could tell immediately that she was an enthusiastic and friendly person, which is something I appreciated, especially being a first time homebuyer. I needed somebody who I could comfortably ask any questions to, and Sandy was that person! She made the house hunting and purchasing process very positive, which I really appreciated!

As a first time home-buyer, I was unsure about many aspects of the entire process. My mortgage lender, USAA, assigned Sandy Swanson as a realtor through their USAA Rewards Network. I won the lottery. I cannot say enough positive things about Sandy. My family in the area recommended someone else that they knew, but I decided to meet Sandy first before switching. I'm so glad I didn't. Her knowledge about the area, her professionalism, and commitment to a personal relationship convinced me from the first meeting to stick with her. I found several homes I thought I might be interested in, which Sandy was able to promptly schedule showings for. The homes, contrary to the pictures, were disappointing to say the least. During the walk-throughs, she was able to spot red-flags I would've never noticed myself, i.e. poor grading, water damage, etc. Sandy spent the time to know what I was really looking for, and a short week or two later sent me a listing that hadn't appeared yet on many of the popular house-hunting apps online. It was exactly what I was looking for. A turn-key home, on the outskirts of town, and on 5 acres of land. After viewing the home together, we knew it wouldn't be on the market long, and she put the written offer together that night. We were in her office until 11 p.m. I can honestly say that in 31 years, I've never experienced that level of superior customer service. The seller accepted the offer, and up until closing I just sat back and let Sandy do her thing. As a military veteran, she was familiar with all aspects of VA loans, and ensured everything was up to par. Because of her local knowledge, she knew all the best local home inspectors, water testers, and even had contacts with Radon testers. She negotiated with the sellers, and any minor issues with the house she was able to get the sellers to pay for. As a veteran, she had coupons for me for some of the inspections, and even waived some of her own personal fees. I work the graveyard shift at a jail, but reaching her was never a problem. Whenever I had questions or concerns, she would reply to calls or texts within 20 minutes. Seriously unbelievable. After closing, which she ensured went flawlessly, I damaged some of the hardwood flooring moving in. She maintains contact even after the sale, and was able to provide trusted contractors she's worked with before. Additionally, she maintained contact with USAA to ensure I received my cash closing bonus. Sandy found my perfect forever home, and I'll always be grateful for all the work she did.
