Hobbies
I have been involved in numerous committees within the local board of realtors including board of directors and past president. My community involvement over the years has included School PTA, Barb Boosters, Board president of the local Red Cross, Meals on Wheels, P.E.O., Board of the DeKalb Education Foundation, Home Extension, Egyptian Theater volunteer, Gather, and Athena committee.

My accomplishments include Graduate of the Realtors Institute 1988; Named Associate of the Year by the DeKalb County Board of Realtors 1986; Recipient of the DeWitt Osgood Award; and Named Realtor of the Year by the DeKalb Area.
Personal Profile
I am a life long resident of DeKalb, attended DeKalb schools and graduated from Northern Illinois University with a B.S. in Education. I taught 5th grade in Rochelle and obtained my real estate license in 1975. I am married to Jim, another life long DeKalb resident and we have 2 adult married daughters and 6 amazing grandchildren. I believe my knowledge of the area and eagerness to promote is a benefit to both parties in a transaction. I am committed to providing quality real estate service with enthusiasm and sensitivity to the needs and wants of both buyers and sellers.

She came with a great recommendation from people who do not recommend anyone without reason. We were a challenging client and Sharon guided us through everything thoroughly and professionally. She is truly a credit to her company, and was always available for clarifications, and other support. Our property was unique and pricing was a challenge. She provided background and historical information to assist us in setting our asking price. We went through a number of reductions due to interest rate challenges and market conditions. Our ultimate goal was to sell and she facilitated that effectively. She truly listened to us, truly realized what a unique home we had, and supported us completely through the showing, contracting, and closing process. She is a gem!
