The sale of my Mom's home after her passing was a difficult situation. First the home is not located in a highly desirable area, second it is a 50 year old home needing repairs, and third the buyer needed a VA loan which is a lot more work, inspections, time required, etc. Add to this that both my brother and I live in different states from the home being sold. Suzanne had to take on the responsibility of finding local plumbers, electricians, carpenters, roofers, etc. to do necessary repairs. None of which we could have secured long distance. Within a week of listing Suzanne had two contract offers which really was a complete surprise from what we were expecting. Suzanne made a dozen or more trips to the home to meet w/ all the repair people, inspectors, etc. and never complained. I have personally dealt w/ more than 50 realtors in my business and personal real estate dealings and my wife is a Real Estate Broker.
