Having grown up in Northern Virginia, worked as an accomplished journalist, and completed her own home search, Lynn brought the ultimate level of expertise to our own home journey. Our expectations probably did not match our budget but somehow, Lynn more than made it work! While there are many attributes that make Lynn an excellent realtor, she most shines in her attention to detail, enthusiasm, and amazingly high level of patience. Lynn's eye for detail helped us spot major issues with houses that many seasoned inspectors would not have even caught. Her enthusiasm is contagious, in that the seller's realtor enjoyed working with Lynn so much, she only accepted our offer because of that! Finally, Lynn never tired of bringing us to houses that often were out of our financial reach. Rather she encouraged us to never give up on our dream home. We've had an amazing experience working with her! She was always on top of communication, and we felt she was in our corner and never tried to push us into something we didn't want. As first time home buyers, we genuinely think she made the process as simple as possible. We can't describe the relief we felt knowing we could rely on her, especially when we went through an unexpected loss while in the midst of closing. During a time of pure grief, she was respectful, caring, and took the lead on communicating with our lender and escrow company while we were traveling and spending time with family. With her support, everything stayed on track, and we're now in a neighborhood and house we love. There are a lot of realtors out there, but it's hard to find one who consistently looks out for your best interests like Maura Stevens!
