Born and raised in Prairie Du Chien in Wisconsin, Larry Rasmussen has always possessed a deep appreciation for hard work and outside-of-the-box thinking. After graduating with his degree in Business Management from the University of Wisconsin, Larry found himself drawn to the real estate industry. True to his midwestern roots, Larry has always believed in treating people with the respect and dignity they deserve - which is exactly how he earned his reputation as an undeniable real estate maverick for the past 40 years.
Driven by his commitment to serving others and truly understanding his clients, Larry is known for his fierce negotiation skills, expansive industry knowledge, and undeniable charm. At his core, Larry believes it is his responsibility to provide his clients with the highest level of service and respect, and it is his goal to make every buying or selling transaction smooth, stress-free, and successful.
As one half of The Rasmussen Team, Larry works alongside his wife, Cathy, to provide top-notch service and outstanding results to their clients throughout Indianapolis. In his spare time, Larry loves to hit the links for a few rounds of golf and can be found swimming at least four to five times a week.

Seller reviewWe used Larry to sell my mother's house 3-4 years ago. He knew the area well and told us to list the house 15% higher than we thought. The house sold in one day! Larry did a great job with my mom, who had the early signs of dementia. Fast forward to 2017. We chose Larry because he is a man of high character, knows Carmel like the back of his hand, and has a tremendous sales record. He flexed to my personality (need to understand all the details) and my wife's (was sentimental over selling the house our kids were raised). He listened and counseled us whenever the need arose. In the end, we sold our house in nine days and the closing went exceptionally well. The house was at the high end within our area, so this was not a slam dunk sale. We are grateful to Larry and his team for making this experience go so smoothly (and getting the price we wanted!).

Buyer reviewLarry Rasmussen did an excellent job in understanding our requirements and then working with us and his team to show us houses that met our criteria. As were were relocating to the area from Chicago, Larry and his team handled many of the pre-closing details with great accuracy and efficiency. Communications and responses were quick and concise. Also I would complement Larry for his knowledge of lending contacts within the community to assist with unique requirements. Cathy Rasmussen was nothing less than outstanding. She was very flexible to our schedule, listened closely to our needs and extremely knowledgeable of the areas we looked in regarding homes. During the negotiation process, both Cathy and Larry were instrumental in providing guidance and information that enable us to be successful in our negotiations. Buyer reviewLarry is the broker who gets it done. He truly is exceptional. He generated multiple offers for us after we had a 6-month contract with another broker and absolutely no offers. Larry appreciated the uniqueness of our property and our personal situation and bent over backwards to accommodate. He also made sure that all potential buyers were prequalified so we won't have to stage and vacate the house for "tire-kickers". Also, he has so many local connections that he could get almost immediate feedback from buyers' brokers and/or he could explain our situation and unique house features to the broker before the prospective buyers saw the house. I'd highly recommend him to anyone!
