    My Mother died in Nov. 2017. Grieving her loss, I needed to sell her properties as it was one of her last wishes. This was an extraordinarily difficult time. Having the KBA Group (Kathy and Bryant and Alvarado) by my side made this an amazing experience! In May of 2017, I met Bryant, who could have sold me services to help me find tenants to rent one of these properties, but he LISTENED to me and suggested that I was really looking for a full-service property management team. His company did not provide this service, but it was an awesome suggestion and really was exactly what I needed. He followed up the next day by providing me the number of a full-service property management team and I signed a contract soon after. Mind you, he could have made money for his office by selling me services that I did not need, but instead decided to help me with what I needed, even at the cost of potential fees out of his pocket. When Mom died in Nov. 2017, the KBA group was the natural choice. They gave me competitive pricing and re-assured me that they would do what was needed to make this process as smooth as possible for me. Bryant contacted me daily and keep me abreast of each step. One of my Mom's properties was in Ventura County and had Section 8 tenants in it who had resided there for over 12 years. I was getting the run around from the Area Housing Authority, was tired, feeling overwhelmed, and hesitant to have to tell the wonderful tenants that they would have to relocate. Kathy called me, LISTENED and decided the best plan of action was for all three of us to go to Ventura County and handle business in person. BOTH Kathy and Bryant picked me up at my home at 7 am (with breakfast) in Glendora, drove me to Ventura Park (over 80 miles one way), met with the Area Housing Authority case manager (three times), went with me to the property, talked to the tenants, inspected the house, and they took photos. The entire day was more than 10 hours and neither one of them complained for one second of the day (including the three-hour drive home). I was so overwhelmed and having them physically and emotionally by my side changed the entire experience and I really felt empowered because they were by my side. This team handles business and really gives concierge level service! I never called and did not get an answer or immediate call back. I received daily calls and texts about the status of the properties. Bryant and Kathy did everything that they could do to ensure that my load was lessened. Once, I texted Bryant, who was not available so Kathy answered my question to Bryant so that I did not have to wait until Bryant could text me back. As another example, once I mentioned, in passing, to Bryant that I needed to go to the post office to get stamps because I needed to send a bill out…. Bryant offered and really insisted that I allow him to bring stamps to my home so that I did not need to go out and get them…. Now, I' not suggesting that Bryant is going to run out and get you stamps, but I want you to understand the type of people you will be getting with the KBA Group. They go WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR THEIR CLIENTS. They have experience and experienced support, so there was never a question that Bryant could not answer. They handled every single aspect of this process, including negations (with my consent and approval), repairs, inspections, buyer concerns, my concerns, notary services, escrow needs, etc. They handled everything that could be handled and essentially all I had to do was sign. Frankly, I have purchased homes in the past and based on those experiences, I did not have high expectations. Kathy and Bryant Alvarado have changed my mind because they way, way exceeded my expectations and have shown me that realtors can and do provide superior customer service.
