We had spoken with other brokers but they either didn't understand our needs or didn't follow up. We chose Bart Stevens and Rick Hughes at Nason Realty because they were absolutely great from the first moment we made contact to the very end. It was our first house purchase, so we needed a lot of advice and help. We received everything we needed and more - our concerns were anticipated and addressed before we even needed to mention them. We were impressed with Bart's knowledge of the property on our very first visit, and we felt confident that we were buying the right house from the right realtor. It was clear from the beginning that Bart and Richard had the experience we'd been looking for, and were generous in sharing their time and expertise. Everything was handled quickly and properly, we were kept informed throughout the process, and all of our many questions and concerns were answered speedily and with professionalism and (most important to us) kindness. We dealt frequently with Richard Hughes, who was so very helpful and kind, and who gave us great advice and helped us understand the whole process better than we could have hoped. Every concern was taken care of, even things that probably should have fallen to us to do on our own. We felt guided and cared for, and could not have asked for more. Nothing was overlooked or forgotten, including consideration for our feelings and concerns as first time buyers. The actual settlement, which we'd been nervous about, was a breeze, and we felt as comfortable in the handsome conference room, overlooking the river, as we would have in our own home. Everyone made us feel welcomed and cared for - a great experience.

Bart went way above what I expected from a broker. It was important that we get someone who would help since we were living in Florida. There were several times between the contract and the closing that Bart helped clean and organize with us and the tenants times to be out showings. There was moments towards the end that it looked like the deal may fall through but Bart did what needed to be done and got us closed.

Bart was willing to travel to southern Maine to show me home's an 1 1/2 hour trip from his office, He was always on time and knowledgeable in the area that I was looking at which was helpful since I was coming from Massachusetts. He did not tell me what I want ted to hear he told me what I needed to do to achieve my goals. Bart is a courteous, friendly and professional realtor.
