We read reviews, particularly at Yelp,com and then interviewed agents by phone and/or in person. Daniel Di Matteo arrived with a fully developed top notch presentation. His self-motivation and drive were immediately apparent, and his use of quality materials were all duly noted. He showed an understanding of the local market, he was able to give an approximate time frame for selling the home, and he gave a ballpark amount for the selling price: all critical points for us. He appeared honest, sincere, and knowledgeable. We hired him on the spot and never regretted the decision. Daniel Di Matteo provided us with a sense of security as we moved through the process. He has integrity and is knowledgeable about every aspect so this gave us confidence. He showcased our home in the best way and when we had worries or questions, he was able to allay our concerns, either by offering creative solutions or simply by dispelling a concern. He truly understands the local market and can play the "real estate board game" with genuine enthusiasm and intelligence. He is very respectful and able to traverse the sometimes rocky path of assisting people who are involved in a life transition. He is sensitive to the needs and emotions that senior citizens have as they sell their family home to downsize and move to a new, albeit unfamiliar world of retirement. Despite his youth, Daniel is in tune and sensitive to his clients emotions and concerns. That is something that can't be taught in real estate school. Compassion is an innate quality that Daniel possesses and this can only serve him well - as he helps others undergoing various transitions in life, albeit retirement, divorce, or a military move. He is fully capable of working with all sorts of people in various periods of life. Century 21 is an outstanding organization. In the future, I would not hesitate to hire an agent associated with Century 21. In fact, I would go to Century 21 first (along with Yelp) if I were buying out-of Daniel Di Matteo's jurisdiction.
