Freida Barker of CENTURY 21 Heritage Realty

We have looked for 2-3 years for some property in the NC mtns. Every where we turned we would end up into problems, or could only find things we couldn't afford. Well we ran into this house on several internet sites, like zillow.com, saw that Frieda Barker was the listing agent, gave her a call, and then the things started happening. She made a few phone calls to previous owner, and within days we we're signing contracts, and starting all the ground work for surveys, and right of ways, then we closed. Frieda helped us in so many ways, with the leg work and paperwork,that had to be done with this property, and she also advised us of very helpful attorney Grady Lonon and Mr. Barr for survey, and then she even went as far as giving me all info to get utiilites taken care of. She helped us by getting right of way to drive way that part of was in virginia owned by another person, she contacted a virginia attorney, drove out to home and store and got signatures that we're needed, and even drove to independence VA to file right of way paperwork, easement. She stayed in touch with me and previous home owner daily, asking questions and getting important information about the place and the deeds, and the well and stuff. We live in charlotte nc, and she would meet us at property anytime we asked her to, even in a foot or more of snow. Freida is very friendly and helpful with local happenings and events, and places to get info we needed. I grow close to Frieda, and consider her a friend. We look forward to seeing Freida again when we're up there, and she's also going to let me know when the blue grass festival happens at Grayson Highland Park, so we can go there, and hope to meet her there. Its been more than a pleasure to work with Frieda, she makes you feel like family, and I feel like I've known her all my life. Thanks again Frieda Barker, you are the best!

I knew Freida had been working with Century 21Heritage Reality for several years because I always liked to check the local real estate brochures when we used our summer home. I remembered her picture being with her listings. Freida went above and beyond the call of duty in presenting our home for sale. We noticed cleaning and even some redecorating had been done when we arrived in Ashe County. That's what I call good service!
