I have 20 years of experience working with clients and serving the Greater Lansing Area. I took an early retirement from State Employment, and I wanted to be a free agent, where I could have a very flexible schedule. My late father had been a Realtor and I decided it would be a great second career. I found that I deal with a lot of "baby boomers" and older folks who need to downsize. So, I have my SRES designation, which stands for Seniors Real Estate Specialist. I also have the distinction of selling Churches for the last 10 years, at least six, so I learned how to market those properties. I feel that God has sent many vulnerable people to me who need an advocate to watch out for them. I often look for ways to make a moving experience less stressful for people who need the extra attention. A good Realtor who knows the business must be the steady calm when storms roll in. Buyers often need reassuring explanations of the buying process; sellers must deal with the emotions of letting go. In the end, it's all about customer service.

I COULD NOT HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT JIM CONVISSOR'S HELP. HE IS KIND.RESPECTFUL,HONEST,RELIABLE AND AN ALL AROUND GREAT GUY.HE HAS A QUIET PERSONALITY WHICH KEEPS THINGS CALM EVEN IN A BAD SITUATION. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN UP ON THIS CONDO WITHOUT HIS HELP. HE FOUGHT HARD FOR ME AND HIS ADVICE WAS INVALUABLE. Jim Convissor is very helpful and made very good suggestions on how to sell the house. Jim is down to earth, easy going and is very positive. Property was listed on a Friday and we had two offers on Monday. Good quick sale Jon Durham took photos and captured everything very well. Very pleased with his work. Jim Convissor was great to deal with.
