As an experienced Realtor with Century 21 Arizona Foothills, I bring a strong background of the trades to the table. I was in the electrical trades for 25+ years. I have done extensive plumbing and carpentry as well. I mention this because it has given me the knowledge to walk through a home and point out the positives and negatives of the home's various systems. This has helped my buyers to see past the simple repairs found at inspections, as well as give them some insight as to what it will take to fix some of the more serious issues. As for my sellers, my experience has given me the ability to help them get their house in "Sale Ready" condition. I always have my client's back through the entire transaction, from showing to closing. If I don't know an answer to one of your questions, I will get the answer. Seller reviewJim was a wonderful Real Estate Agent. I live out of state and Jim was referred to us from our realtor here in Washington. My sister passed away and I could only spend a Limited amount of time in Arizona taking care of her property. Jim came in and helped me get the property ready by finding Junk companies, cleaners, carpet installers, roofers and just all around general contractors to help get everything up to code and ready for the sale he even lent me his tools so we could fix some of the stuff on our own. He even came on his own personal time to let people come from Facebook marketplace and buy her furniture we did not donate. I would highly recommend Jim to all my friends and family that live in the Phoenix area .

Jim pointed out to us and addressed all of the findings to the seller and got all findings satisfactory taken care of. Jim is a great and naturally down to earth person with a wealth of experience, patience and caring. There is a Stairlift installed in the home, we had no idea if it was operational or how to operate the Stairlift. Jim told us that he can arrange to get it remove, my wife said to leave it and Jim figured out how to operate the Stairlift and then trained us on the operation. I will most certainly call on Jim Balko should the need for buying or selling arise in the future, and I would certainly reccommend Jim Balko in a heartbeat.
