We knew that we would probably be doing renovations to any property that we bought so we were hopeful to find a broker that was familiar with building structures, local architecture and what is allowed in the area. Given that Joe Sledzinski has spent his life in the area and has a strong knowledge of construction, we felt he was the perfect fit from the start. He didn't disappoint! Joe went above and beyond to make our purchase as stress-free as possible. There were three of us going in on this purchase. He spent a lot of time learning exactly what we wanted in a vacation home and where we may compromise. Joe kept us updated on new listings and gave us honest feedback on each based on our needs and wants so that we weren't wasting time on properties that wouldn't work for us since we live 2.5 hours away. While visiting homes, he spent extra time with us brainstorming renovation ideas and helped us to see the potential of each property. He did this for over a year! We went through making multiple offers until we found the vacation home for us. Throughout the entire process, he was always extremely responsive via phone, text, and email and extremely patient with all of our questions, financial considerations, and differing opinions. There was never any pressure. During the inspection process he helped us by visiting the property multiple times to check on repairs and the follow-up inspection since we weren't local. In addition, at closing, the entire Century 21 office was friendly and helpful. We even continue to keep an extra key with them in case of emergencies. We couldn't recommend Joe highly enough. He helped us to find an amazing property and to negotiate a great price. He became a friend along the way too. We couldn't be more pleased with the experience and grateful to have found Joe.

Joe must have taken us to 30 or 40 homes in a nine month period. He always acted as if he had nothing better to do on any given day. In the beginning we explained we were just looking, i.e. exploring the possibilities. This do not seem to matter to Joe. He made himself available even with somewhat unreasonable request, e.g. "tomorrow" we would like to see so and so houses. He was always well organized, e.g. the listing were given to us in the order of seeing the houses. Never felt rushed, never felt any sort of pressure. We planned to try different brokers, but quickly saw no reason to do that. It was when we began more serious and closed in on house we saw what a professional he was. It seemed like he did this hundreds of times before. He was always available to us helping us with the entire process.
