I am a longtime DC resident having lived in Dupont Circle & Logan Circle before buying a home in the U Street Corridor. It was my own home buying experience that inspired me to become a real estate agent. I strive to provide my clients with the information and resources needed to make sound decisions during the home buying and selling process.My background is in advertising & marketing where I worked as an art director and designer for clients such as The World Bank, NIH, Amtrak, USAirways & Sheraton. From this field, I bring a strong design aesthetic, effective communication skills, and an ability to understand and respond to client needs. I have excellent listening skills, am patient, organized and attentive to detail. I enjoy interacting with clients and am committed to providing great, honest service.I'm an intermediate Spanish speaker and I love traveling abroad and exploring other parts of the world. Buyer reviewI approached Kim Vilov knowing little about the process and hoping someone could give me background. She was incredibly patient and was willing to spend a lot of time explaining things to me without any clear indication I was close to buying. She helped me get past thinking about buying to seriously looking (and purchasing!). Kim always struck the right balance of advising without pushing. It felt like she was a friend who was helping me to find what was the right place for me.

Seller reviewI'm very satisfied with the excellent work Kim Vilov did on the sale of my house. The house was staged and priced to sell and it did in a very timely manner and over the asking price in a very efficient way. Kim Vilov suggested and offered a marketing plan based on realistic facts about the area, the property, and my needs. She did an excellent advertising campaign online (write-up, pictures, video), in paper (brochures), and with the yard sign. We had offers on the house as soon as the yard sign was placed in the property. More offers followed as soon as Kim Vilov posted online for other realtors to see and before it went "public." Kim Vilov is very professional and always accessible. She made me and my pets feel like her family/friends. Kim Vilov was always very friendly and polite with my neighbors, which made her know the neighborhood even better. Kim Vilov was always very considerate of prospective buyers and treated them in a way that they felt welcome to the house. Kim Vilov took the time to explain every aspect of the contracts during the entire process of selling my house. She kept on top of all the various deadlines and communicated well at all stages.
