I'm a Traverse City native and the youngest of 6. I was taught early how to "negotiate" in my best interest because of my 3 older brothers. I use that experience now to "negotiate" the best outcome for my clients. After 20 years of traveling and living in different parts of the country, I settled back in Traverse City with my husband and 2 kids in 2005. What a great place to call home! I have been in sales of one kind or another all of my working life, earning my Real Estate license in 2010. I've learned over the years that relationships are what build sales. Each and every experience is unique and comes with its own set of rewards and challenges. My goal is to make this part of the process as smooth as possible. I'm dedicated to my family, clients, and career, working diligently to earn trust and loyalty. Buyer reviewOur first deal with Kristin fell through-not her fault but bad faith on the seller's part. She was our agent not the seller agent. She went above and beyond to help us get deposit money etc back. As well as communicating with our lawyer and general support in a difficult situation. It was above excellent. We had a very difficult situation with the first property that my made an offer on. She went way above and beyond in dealing with a difficult, convoluted situation. Our layer was very impressed with the way she handled things. Also very supportive of us.

Kristine was invaluable in getting the house staged, photographed, and on the market. It sold for cash to the second person who saw it on the first day it was on the market. Kristine Shaklette was and always has been there for us.It just doesn't get any better.
