Personal Profile

Tammy fell in love with this area in 2004 when her in-laws moved to Amelia Island. She married Marc, her college sweetheart, in 1997 and his work had them call Hilton Head Island SC, Charlotte NC, and Wilmington NC home before moving to their forever home on Amelia Island in May 2019. Tammy has 2 sons, one in college in Jacksonville and the other son is a Senior at Fernandina Beach High School. In her spare time, she enjoys boating, watching her sons play soccer, and exploring this area with all that it has to offer. She thinks you wont find a better place than the Amelia Island area to make the biggest investment of your life.

    Tammy Tingle responded to an inquiry I made via Zillow to speak with a realtor in the Amelia Island area. During our initial phone call, she seemed so personable and knowledgeable about real estate in the area and sensitive to our need to search for property within our narrow budget, that I decided to move forward with hiring Tammy as our realtor. Tammy was on top of all the details of our home search and purchase and was transparent about all steps throughout the process, which put us at ease the entire time. Tammy's husband, Marc Tingle, also handled some of our paperwork and was equally professional, accessible and pleasant to work with. I cannot say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Tammy Tingle. In addition to being super friendly, down-to-earth, accessible and competent, she is a walking encyclopedia for all things Northern Florida. Tammy's tips came in particularly handy for me and my husband who knew nothing about the area and recently moved from California to Florida.     Tammy Tingle lives in Ocean Park and is fully cognizant of the positive features. She has sold other properties in the complex. Also,as a good salesperson, she makes the acquaintance of people here as a friend and helpful person, so we know about her and appreciate both her forthcoming personality and her genuine source of knowledge about how to find services even when she is not representing you. Excellent qualities in a salesperson. Although we were under contract with your agency and had agreed, with Tammy Tingle's knowledge of the market, upon an asking price, the condo was not yet actually on the market. It was in the "preparation period". Tammy Tingle is always alert to possibilities. When a buyer looked at the identical condo on a lower floor, but expressed a wish for an ocean view, after talking with them about our pending sale, she brought us an "as is" offer for our asking price without any encumbrance of the need for the buyer to get a mortgage. The offer served our purpose well. Tammy Tingle handled our interface with the title company handling the closing, which preferred to have us deal with the process digitally, very skillfully. We are not accustomed to transacting legal business digitally. I know of no law requiring people to be conversant with the use of a computer or a smartphone to buy or sell real property, and I prefer to receive services I am paying for on my terms, which does not include my doing the work digitally. Tammy Tingle made sure we had to do as little of that as possible, serving as interface/tutor. As you can tell from my previous rant about the digital age, I am an aged Luddite, but I think it's well worth mentioning that any business which makes an assumption that everyone is either computer literate on devices, or even if they are, wishes to do business using those devices, is being rather shortsighted. Direct personal service has not gone out of style, especially among those of us who are "affluent elderly". Tammy Tingle delivers direct personal service, and we were more than satisfied ..
