Our relationship with Eric is what I consider an Intimate Professional Relationship. I felt like Eric treated us as friends yet was a very professional business associate. I strongly believe that the guidance Eric offered in preparing the house for sale was a driving factor in the quick sale of our home.

As a first time home buyer I was nervous about the process of buying a house. However, the care and detailed communication from Eric Hinton made the process easy and enjoyable.

Simple facts: Listed the property with another firm & realtor a year prior in one of the hottest markets in a long time. Was told to move to a hotel for opening weekend because of all the traffic that was going to occur. A few $$$ of hotel bills later, we'd gotten virtually no traffic. Then this fall we listed with Eric in a decidedly more lukewarm market, and had steady traffic and an initial contract which fell through entirely because of problems with the buyers, but also had verbal offers standing by with other parties and immediately went under contract with one. They weren't an easy party to deal with, but Eric worked with the buyer's agent to cut through a lot of nit-picky issues and ensure a great deal wasn't lost to emotions and frustrations. He's very engaged with his clients and their properties and many times went and personally took care of some minor issue the buyers were wound up tight about. In doing so, he guided this transaction to one where afterward we'd say that finally (we've bought and sold more than our share of properties through the years) someone in the real estate field demonstrated the value of true professionalism and perspective. Five stars, and Eric gets catted up to P/1/2 races for now on (he'll know what that means).

We chose Eric because he was referred by a friend, and we had mutual associations. We really knew nothing about him professionally. However, we were immediately impressed and assured by his professionalism and aggressive marketing tactics. His guidance and patience with us first-time home sellers definitely made us "Eric fans." In a "slow" market, Eric Hinton was hugely instrumental in getting a contract within 3 (!) days of listing the house! His communication skills are impeccable; his sense of humor a true gift! I can't say enough about him. He began our realtor; he is now our friend. We couldn't be more pleased. Mel was precious and did a great job, as welll!

Our home search with Eric was a wonderful experience. His knowledge when walking through homes proved valuable. When we were worried about our schedules not lining up and not being able to have access to Eric, the team at Cent 21 stepped in seamlessly. His honesty and patience with us in this market was exceptional. Eric is the coolest agent we have met and worked with!
