As a Native Washingtonian and a resident of Northern Virginia since 1978, I was first licensed to sell Real Estate in 1984. I combine my unique experience in the fields of banking, lending, new home sales, and residential real estate to provide my purchasers and sellers with up to date knowledge and advice. My business philosophy is to meet or exceed my clients' expectations by providing the best personalized service with the highest of ethical standards. My primary goal is to build lasting, long-term relationships with my clients.While building my real estate clientele, I pursued a successful management career in commercial loan operations, achieving an Assistant Vice President position with First Virginia Bank (now BB&T). After leaving my career in banking, I joined a nationally renowned builder as a new home sales agent. Later, in 2000, I teamed with a small real estate company to offer boutique residential sales services. In January 2003, I joined another brokerage where I assisted buyers and sellers in the Northern Virginia area.I am pleased to be a part of C21Redwood Realty now.

Seller reviewI've known MaryEllen for quite a few years - our daughters went to school together. When I made the decision to sell, she was the only agent I considered. MaryEllen far exceeded my expectations. She walked with me and held my hand as we went through the process of getting my house acceptable for the buyer. I was very anxious about all of it, but MaryEllen had my back the entire time, and there was a great result. We had a buyer before even going to market, so we didn't do any advertising. There was quite a bit of work that needed to be done before selling, which is why it took a bit longer than I expected. The buyer hung in there as we made the repairs, so we didn't need to go all out on the marketing. I sold my house and gained a friendship along the way. It was a win-win.
