As a lifelong Virginian, Greg has lived in Old Town Alexandria for the last 35 years. It was during these many years that Greg developed his love and knowledge of the DC Metropolitan area. He has always been very active in Alexandria serving as a Deacon in his church, the Old Presbyterian Meeting House, and over the years he served as a Commissioner for the City and became the Vice Chair of the Arlington - Alexandria Workforce Investment Board (WIB). After years of community service, he was recognized for his contributions by the City of Alexandria. His love for Old Town, led to his involvement and support of the new waterfront development. He was asked to speak at the public hearings and his Op-ed was published in support for the changes to modernize the waterfront with the highly successful Robinson Landing waterfront homes adding the largest pier and promenade in Old Town. In 1986, Greg was hired and relocated here to become the first Architect and Design specialist for Milliken and Company - the world's largest privately held textile conglomerate and a winner of the prestigious Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award. After 12 years of great success, winning the highest honors and accolades awarded Milliken associates, he decided to return to graduate school where he studied Human Behavior and received his Master's degree in Organization Development, at American University in DC. He graduated in 2003 and was soon honored for his research and practicum which was published in 2 international academic journals. He practiced OD independently for 10 years working with the largest government agencies, as well as large and small private sector companies. In 2013 he was drawn back to his love of design as he was invited to join a successful real estate team to bring his design skills and his experience working with highly educated level of clients to this profession. He has a discerning eye and talent for guiding homeowners how and what updates would be most effective for the greatest return. The results speak for themselves as his listings typically sell in days and often well over asking price. With his team of vetted and highly qualified contractors Greg removes the stress that overwhelms sellers and makes this process fun and a pleasure while seeing their home beautifully transform. Seller reviewI thoroughly enjoyed working with Greg again on my recent home sale. This was my third time doing business with him and I can't recommend him enough. He made great recommendations for modest improvements and repairs to our home to make it a highly attractive property. Utilizing his extensive network of contractors, he basically acted as my general contractor and took a huge amount of work off my plate. I also really appreciated Greg's in-depth research and consultations with other brokers in his firm to understand the market immediately surrounding our home and determine the best asking price and sales strategy. The night before we went live, while I was out of town, he discovered a water leak in our basement, and immediately arranged for an inspection while simultaneasouly juggling disclosures to a couple of prospective buyers. In the end, it was a minor issue, but Greg handled it masterfully and we had the home sold after 4 days on the market, and well over asking price!

Buyer reviewThis was my second time buying a home with Greg and, once again, he rocked! As a military officer, I've purchased homes several times over the past 20 years in various markets. Greg is without a doubt the best realtor I've worked with. Due to an advanced cancer diagnosis in our family, we needed more space, but only had a small window to make a move a reality. We quickly visited over 15 properties with Greg to feel out the market, watching nearly all of them rapidly sell in just a few days, often with multiple cash offers, no contingenies, and well above asking price. Greg helped us understand what was needed to be competitive and even linked us up with an awesome mortgage provider who arranged a unique bridge loan that allowed us to make a competitive "cash-like" offer. In the end, we beat out 7 other offers to secure our dream home on the first attempt! Greg was incredibly attentive throughout the entire process. I truly believe this move couldn't have happened without him.

Seller reviewAfter buying our second home with Greg, it was time to sell our first home, and we were excited to work with Greg on for sale side. The market in Northern Virginia is so crazy, we came into the process with high expectations that things would get wrapped up on the first weekend, but unfortunately it took a few extra days. Greg was fantastic with setting up showings and the open house and went out of his way to make things easy for us with an infant and a dog in the house and was flexible and attentive to our needs in making the showings work with our schedule. There are not many realtors who would show up for a private showing and take the dog for a walk while prospective buyers were in the house, but Greg was always there going above and beyond for us. We ended up accepting a full price offer on the 5th day the home was on the market, and despite a stressful few days, we are thrilled with how it all worked out. Thank you so much Greg!

Each perspective buyer raved about every improvement Greg encouraged me to make. I was not always the easiest client, but he always remained patient with me and put me at ease with every decision. Seller reviewI have known Greg for 20 plus years as we attended grad school in the same cohort. I enjoyed working with him on projects with clients together. I was happy for Greg when after 10 years of consulting, he was asked to join a team of realtors. I knew this was a perfect fit for his marketing background and as an Architect and Design specialist, in a former career. I watched his success grow over the last 10 years. Knowing Greg's high caliber as a professional and human being made it easy for me to trust him with selling my home in Falls Church. There were a couple of big challenges to overcome: a) I live in Florida and was not going to be present to get the house ready for sale, and b) It was not the ideal time to sell, as the market had changed drastically in mid-22 and the interest rates were climbing. Greg assumed full responsibility to make the house market ready. He contributed valuable ideas and recommendations to embellish the presentation of the house. I could not have done it without his goodwill, design and staging ideas, and knowledge of what makes a house appealing or not. He has made a significant impact with a small budget, and I am forever grateful for that. We were shocked with how beautiful the home looked and was presented online to draw people to the house. Greg added his own photos of the surrounding lake, parks, and paths throughout the development. We had very good traffic and the feedback was also very good. Greg reached out to the showing agents before they visited with an amenity summary and a description of the area and what to notice and visit. He followed up with the agents after each visit and created a good rapport with each. Ultimately, we were thrilled with multiple offers. Greg had leveraged with each agent this sudden interest and activity, which helped build momentum. We settled on one in less than 30 days. I am so appreciative of Greg and what he did for me. The handholding, the daily texts and phone calls and his tenacity to get us through this hard time in selling a home.
